Q: I cannot remember my ID and password. How do I login?

A: The ID and password are listed in the "Secure" and "Staff" tables of the NEORHYMIS database (neo_rhy.mdb). This MS-Access database is password protected for security purposes. Please contact the RHYMIS hotline (888-749-6474) (email rhymis_help@csc.com) staff to obtain the password. Additional security has been built into the database to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the youth data contained therein. The hotline staff will assist with the steps to open Staff and Secure tables in database to find the ID that is assigned to the staff and the Password associated with the ID.

Q: Is it necessary to enter the staff information contained in the staff profile screen?

A: The staff information entered into the database is not included in the data submission sent to FYSB. The decision to enter staff information into NEORHYMIS is solely up to your agency. FYSB does not require that staff information be entered into the program.

Q: When is the Federal Transfer submission due?

A: The Federal Transfer data submission is due biannually, as follows:

October through March data is due not later than April 15
April through September data is due not later than October 15

The Information message is displayed that gives the name of the Federal Transfer file, the location where the Federal Transfer is filed, and the email address to which the Federal Transfer is to be sent as an attachment. Please note this information to attach the Federal Transfer file to an email message that you send to: rhymis_transfer@csc.com.

Diskette - click "Create Transfer"
Insert diskette in Floppy drive "A" and Click "Yes" to "Confirmation" message
Click "OK" at the DynaZip request to begin creating the Federal Transfer file

Information message: Please remove diskette from floppy drive "A" and mail Federal Transfer to: Computer Sciences Corporation, Attention: RHYMIS Processing Center, 15245 Shady Grove Road, Rockville, MD 20850.

Q: Where and how do I submit my Federal Transfer?

A: The Federal Transfer submission may be sent electronically as an attachment to an email message. The NEORHYMIS agency ID (listed on the login screen) and the sender's name and phone number should be included in the message. The email address is: rhymis_transfer@csc.com.

Q: For the question "How does the youth describe himself/herself using these census categories?" Could you add a response option for "Other Race" under the "Race" category so that we can record information on youth of mixed race, particularly nonwhite Hispanic youth?

A: FYSB understands that grantees serve youth of racial backgrounds that may be difficult to categorize. The response options for this question were the only options approved by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB). FYSB therefore is not able to revise them. Grantees, however, may select as many response options as needed to reflect the racial background of youth of mixed race.
